WELCOME on the website of the research group Engineering Dynamics. On this site you will find information about our group and our activities both in research and in education.
The Engineering Dynamics group started as a full chair in 2000 with the arrival of Prof. Daniel Rixen at the T.U. Delft. Today the Engineering Dynamics group includes a small number of staff members and is hosting several PhD students doing research in exciting fields such as Vibration analysis, Multibody simulation and experimental dynamics. The passion for our research is the drive for the teaching we provide both to MSc and BSc students.

The Engineering Dynamics group is also home of the special research topic Vehicle Dyamics. This research field has a long history at the Delft University of Technology where pioneering research was done in the last decades on tire dynamics. Currently a small number of advanced activities remain on this topic in our group. See the special link:
