The application procedure for the Bussiness in Energy Systems programme is divided in two stages; in the first stage we ask for your personal information, motivation and résumé. With this information the assessment committee will make a first selection after which the best candidates will be invited for enrolment. The enrolment procedure includes the formal check of your Diploma’s, English Proficiency test scores and provided credentials and will lead to a formal acceptance letter.

Application requirements:

  • You need to speak, read and write English at an academic level, in the second part of the application we ask for an English Proficiency test.
  • Participants need to have an academic degree.
  • Participants need to have about five years of relevant work experience.

First stage of the application includes:

1.     Personal information thought the application from.
2.     Motivation letter in English of between 500-1000 words (This is an integral part of your application. We use the motivation essay to evaluate your interests, writing skills and ability for critical thinking.)
3.     An extensive resume describing educational background and work experience.

After selection the requirements for the enrolment procedure are the following:

4.     English Proficiency test (We need an official copy of your English Proficiency test. – A TOEFL test with a minimum of 21 points for every section and an overall Band score of at least 90. We only accept Internet based test. – IELTS with a minimum of 6.0 for each section and an overall band score of at least 6.5. – University of Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English, or the University of Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English. Nationals from the USA, U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada are exempt from the proof of English requirement.)
5.     Copy of passport or I.D. card.
6.     A certified copy of your diploma’s (If your diploma is in another language than English, French, German or Dutch, you must also provide a certified translation of your diploma.)
7.     Questionnaire about disability, allergy et cetera. Things we need to take in consideration regarding organizing your stay.
